Pair it with your delete pipes and your Duramax runs the way it should.
The stock DPF, EGR system, DEF tank, and catalytic converters add backpressure, heat, and complexity to an engine built to work hard. The tune lets you remove all of those parts for good, so the regen cycles that kill fuel economy and clog injectors stop too.
You download the custom tune built to your VIN from a Windows PC to the Autocal using the free EFI Live V8 software, plug it into your OBDII port, follow the included step-by-step instructions, then pull the physical emissions hardware. The included DSP5 switch flips between five power levels in real time, no laptop needed: Stock +0HP for daily driving, towing, and best MPG, then +30HP, +65HP, +100HP, and +130HP for performance. Cab & Chassis trucks and 2011–2016 LML trucks with a manual transfer case receive a single 0HP tune and no DSP5.
